Proposed AMC draft Bill

Check out this latest draft of the AMC bill.  There are some interesting changes.  Especially the start date of October 2010!  Take a look at the attached link below.One thing to note is the AMCs will pay us instead of the banks, but this has been explained to us as the following:If the lender pays us directly, then the Appraisal Board will have no authority over the banks to do anything about our fees and payment.  Banks are federally regulated, however AMCs would be state regulated...   The…See More

One person can make a difference- House Bill 716, Regulation of AMCs

If you have not contacted your NC House of Representatives, please do so!  Many of your NCPAC appraiser peers are out there meeting with these Representatives in person, but we need your help as well.  It is not enough to rely on other people to make the effort; one person can make a difference!In meeting with Rep. Southeast Chapter of NCPAC

This site was designed for appraisers who are a member of NCPAC, but are also members of the local chapter- Southeast Chapter of NCPAC. This is a public forum, but membership in SEC-NCPAC will be a requirement. If you are new to our group feel free to check out our site and please attend a local meeting. Once you decide to stick around and become a member you can contact our Treasurer about 2010 dues. See page for officers for more information.
